- After Lutris reduces the scaling back to the default, I have to go back to the settings, and set it to my preferred level again. The EA Games application renders much more clearly with a 100% scaling, so there's obviously a reason why Lutris does this.
As EA Games is not a game, but a game launcher, changing the runner settings for this application only, does not seem to be an option. I have however attempted to fix it with the global runner options (Wine). Enabling DPI Scaling seems to have no effect.- How do I prevent Lutris from changing the scaling? Is there a way I can maintain good rendering quality for EA Games with a 150% scale?

Enabling the "virtual desktop", as suggested [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/pop_os/comments/1bkc6mk/lutris_how_to_stop_games_from_changing_screen/), causes the EA app to fail launching with an assertion error.

Stop Lutris from changing the screen scaling
Every time I open EA Games from within Lutris, the desktop's UI/screen scaling is reset from 150% to 100%. This is in PopOS running with a 4K resolution on a 4K screen. The resolution is not changed. After Lutris reduces the scaling back to the default, I have to go back to the settings, and set it to my preferred level again. The EA Games application renders much more clearly with a 100% scaling, so there's obviously a reason why Lutris does this. As EA Games is not a game, but a game launcher, changing the runner settings for this application only, does not seem to be an option. I have however attempted to fix it with the global runner options (Wine). Enabling DPI Scaling seems to have no effect. How do I prevent Lutris from changing the scaling? Is there a way I can maintain good rendering quality for EA Games with a 150% scale?
