Monitor computer temperatures

+2
−0

How do I read computer temperatures from my desktop in PopOS? Is there a terminal command, DE extension or GUI application that I can use for the purpose? The UEFI reports CPU, CPU case and motherboard temperatures, although not the GPU temperature. I'd like to see all these from the desktop, such that I can monitor them while using the computer.

Scope and details

I've intentionally left out hardware details in the hope that it's not necessary to answer the question. I am also not sure about the scope of the question. Maybe it should be split up. I'm imagining there are multiple ways to monitor them, either in the terminal, from some extension to the DE, from a standalone application, or from an overlay. Maybe there should be a separate question for each. I am not familiar enough with the platform, nor do I have an answer. As such, I'm not qualified to make the judgement.
