FAQ
Welcome to Linux Systems! We're glad you're here. The following information is relevant primarily within this community. If you have a question that applies to the entire Codidact family of communities, you may want to look at our Global FAQ or Global TOS.
What is Linux Systems all about?
Linux Systems is about all Linux- and Unix-like systems: installing, configuring, using, administering, etc. Questions should focus on the Linux aspects of the question.
If your question is about OS-independent aspects of software (for example, how to do something in Chrome), your question might be on-topic on Power Users. If your question is about *developing* software, it's probably on-topic on Software Development. You can use Meta to raise questions about or propose changes to scope.
What are the rules on Linux Systems?
Linux Systems currently has no additional guidelines beyond the Codidact TOS and Code of Conduct.
